Oleg Vladislavovich Karsaev, Ph.D, Senior Researcher of Intelligent Systems Laboratory of the St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation of the Russian Academy of Science, graduated from the Military Academy of Space Engineering in St. Petersburg (1981), obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1986 in the area of "Knowledge Discovery from Data Base". Main publications are related to the areas of Multi Agent Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Data Fusion, Planning and Scheduling, Information Security.

Research interests

Technology of Multi-Agent Systems' Development and Development of Applied Multi-agent Systems, Dynamic Planning and Scheduling, Business Activity Monitoring, Data Fusion, Machine Learning, Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, Computer Network Security.
